ABP Network has revealed the findings of the November 2021 opinion poll, which predicts a narrow win for the BJP in UP, Uttarakhand and Goa States, with its seat share falling precariously close to the majority mark in UP and Uttarakhand.
Whereas Punjab and Manipur remain too close to call for any party, with AAP and BJP leading in Punjab and Manipur respectively.
Conducted alongside research partner CVoter (Centre for Voting Opinion & Trends in Election Research), the opinion poll survey aims to provide a clearer picture of how the ballot game stands in the five states.
The ABP Network-CVoter survey, according to an official statement from the broadcaster, revealed that as per the public opinion in Uttar Pradesh, BJP is retaining the state with a 40.4 percent vote share (212 to 224 seats), followed by Samajwadi Party with 33.6 percent vote share (151 to 163 seats). BSP is third with a 13.2% vote share (12 to 24 seats).
According to the survey, Aam Aadmi Party is leading in Punjab with 38.4 percent vote share (50 to 56 seats), whereas INC stands second with 34.1 percent vote share (39 to 45 seats). Shiromani Akali Dal grabs the third spot with a 20.4 percent vote share (17 to 23 seats).
In Uttarakhand, BJP is maintaining its lead position with 39.8 percent vote share (33 to 39 seats), whereas INC stands second with 35.7 percent (29 to 35 seats) vote, while AAP grabs the third spot with 12.6 percent (1 to 3 seats).
In Manipur, BJP is leading with a 37.9 percent vote share (29 to 33 seats) whereas INC stands second with 34.3 percent vote share (23-27 seats).
In Goa, BJP is leading with a 30 percent vote share (17-21 seats) followed by AAP and INC with the second spot 24.4 percent (5 to 9 seats), 19.7 percent (4 to 8 seats) respectively.
Detailing the methodology used in the survey, the ABP statement stated the C-Voter survey reached out to a total of approximately 98,000+ across five States. It was conducted through CATI (telephonic survey). The results are subject to a margin of error: +/- 3 percent and confidence: 95percent.
