In a recent episode of the show ‘Aap Ki Adalat‘, Bhojpuri actor-singer and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari issued a strong warning to the opposition parties.
Tiwari stated that those planning to “uproot” Prime Minister Narendra Modi would ultimately find themselves being “uprooted” instead.
The episode, hosted by Rajat Sharma, was broadcasted on India TV on July 8, 2023.
Responding to a question regarding RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s call to “uproot” Modi, Tiwari expressed his wishes for Lalu’s full recovery but emphasized that those seeking to remove Modi would face their own downfall. He urged the opposition to focus on eradicating poverty, corruption, terrorism, and the drug mafia instead of targeting Modi.
Tiwari also highlighted the international recognition received by Prime Minister Modi. He mentioned how the Prime Minister of Australia referred to Modi as the “Boss” and how another foreign Prime Minister touched his feet. Tiwari even revealed that he was preparing a song titled ‘Paanch Saal Aur Hamen Modi Ki Zaroorat Hai’ (We Need Modi for Five More Years) for the upcoming 2024 elections.
When Rajat Sharma pointed out one of Tiwari’s Bhojpuri songs in which he appealed to the people of Bihar to support both Modi and Nitish Kumar, Tiwari redirected the question to Nitish Kumar, claiming that Nitish had left their alliance.
Additionally, Tiwari discussed his “professional rivalry” with fellow Bhojpuri star and BJP MP Ravi Kishan. He recounted an incident during a movie shoot where he portrayed a police officer and Ravi Kishan played a criminal.
Tiwari questioned the scene’s credibility, as Ravi Kishan insisted on beating the police officer character. Tiwari defended the integrity of his role and emphasized that such objections often arise during movie productions.
The BJP MP also shared an incident involving Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who invited Tiwari to participate in the movie ‘Ganga’ where Ravi Kishan had a significant role.
Furthermore, Tiwari revealed his relationship with former Indian cricket captain M.S. Dhoni and Amitabh Bachchan.
He narrated an incident in Koregaon, Pune, where he and Amitabh Bachchan were shooting on one film set while Dhoni was present on another. Dhoni, upon learning about Bachchan’s arrival, insisted on meeting him, showcasing the camaraderie and respect between the two accomplished individuals.
Manoj Tiwari’s statements and personal anecdotes have garnered attention, shedding light on the political scenario, Bollywood connections, and the bond shared by prominent figures like Amitabh Bachchan and M.S. Dhoni.
