AAO NXT, Odisha’s premier OTT platform, has unveiled its latest original feature film titled ‘Karma’, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anupam Patnaik. The film is an atmospheric thriller that delves deep into themes of destiny, retribution, and the far-reaching consequences of human choices.

‘Karma’ follows the story of Special Investigation Officer Amar Patnaik, who finds himself stranded in a desolate graveyard. As he begins to unravel the secrets hidden within, he is forced to confront the consequences of fate and his own past decisions. The film promises a gripping narrative layered with psychological tension and moral introspection.

Written by Nishant Majithia and Manash Padhiary, the film features an ensemble cast including Subhajit Anand, Abigail Bean, Abi Choudhury, Jayaprakash Das, Pradeep Debta, Manmay Dey, Udit Guru, Sanoj Kumar, Suryamayee Mahapatra, Nishant Majithia, Anubhav Mohanty, Divyadisha Mohanty, Jagannath Sahoo, Si Panchanan Patra, and Tapas Sargharia. Each character contributes to the suspenseful, multi-dimensional world that Karma builds across its runtime.

Backed by a strong creative team, ‘Karma’ is produced by Anupam Patnaik and Barsha Patnaik, with Gopal Ghadai serving as Executive Producer and Dibyajyoti Mohanty as Line Producer. The film’s visual tone and atmosphere are crafted through the lens of cinematographer Deepak Kumar, enhanced by the music of Ashish Pradhan, the sharp edits of Rashmi Ranjan Dash, and evocative art design by Amiya Maharana and Sudhansu Mohanty.
