Aanchal Johar, a seasoned media professional with extensive experience across leading media houses, has joined Times Network as Associate Vice President.
In her new role, Johar will be responsible for overseeing content partnerships, network IPs, and special projects with brands across India. She shared the news of her new position on LinkedIn.
Prior to joining Times Network, Johar held the role of Assistant Vice President at Zee Media Corporation. She has also served as Deputy General Manager at India Today from March 2023 to August 2023. This is not her first stint with Times Network—between June 2021 and January 2023, Johar held the position of Deputy GM and Regional Head.
With a career spanning over a decade, Johar has also worked as Senior Territory Head at Zee Entertainment Enterprises (March 2016 – April 2021), and Regional Head at U Digital Content (December 2015 – March 2016). Prior to that, she spent nearly three years at 9X Media as Manager – Ad Sales and Brand Solutions. Earlier in her career, she was associated with The Walt Disney Company, Live India Television, and NDTV, working across sales and brand solutions roles.
Johar’s diverse experience and leadership in strategic media initiatives position her as a key player in expanding Times Network’s content and brand collaboration efforts across India.
