Aakash Singhal, a sales and marketing professional, has joined TV9 Bharatvarsh as Chief Manager (Group Head) – Sales. Singhal was most recently Senior Manager – Sales at Aaj Tak HD, and he announced the move on LinkedIn.
During his time at Aaj Tak, he oversaw fixed commercial time sales for Aaj Tak HD’s major corporate accounts, as well as advertiser-funded program sales for Aaj Tak HD with key partners and stakeholders. Through organic collaborations, Singhal also actively contributed to new business developments in a variety of industry segments.
Singhal has 13 years of media industry experience in areas such as sales, content sales, marketing, and brand promotion. Throughout his career, he has worked with companies such as ABP, The Telegraph, HT City, Hindustan, and Career Launcher.
Singhal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Honors from Aligarh Muslim University.
“In the last financial year, Approx Rs 398 Crores from this fund was utilised to provide financial assistance to 1.74 lakh veterans. Through our collaboration with Red FM, we strongly believe in reaching the masses for maximum impact. Since this contribution offers rebates to individuals under the income tax act and corporate organizations under the CSR initiatives, we hope the citizens continue contributing to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund,” Sainik said.
The campaign is rolled out in 21 stations across the country.
