Dish TV India has announced the retirement of Ravi Bhushan Puri, Corporate Head – Broadcasting, marking the end of his tenure with the direct-to-home (DTH) operator.
The development was disclosed through a regulatory filing on May 29, submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Regulations.
According to the filing, Puri stepped down from his position and ceased to be part of the company’s senior management team with effect from the close of business hours on May 31, 2026.
Dish TV clarified that the resignation was solely on account of retirement and was not linked to any operational, governance, management or other material concerns within the organization.
During his tenure as Corporate Head – Broadcasting, Puri played a key role in overseeing several aspects of Dish TV’s broadcasting operations. His responsibilities included managing content partnerships, broadcast operations and supporting strategic initiatives across the company’s television distribution business.
As one of the senior executives within the organization, he contributed to the management of content relationships and operational functions that support Dish TV’s platform and service offerings.
The company has not announced any immediate successor for the role. Further details regarding leadership responsibilities within the broadcasting division are expected to be communicated in due course.
Dish TV remains one of India’s leading direct-to-home service providers, offering a wide range of television channels and value-added services to subscribers across the country. The retirement of a senior executive such as Puri marks a notable leadership transition for the company as it continues to navigate the evolving broadcasting and media distribution landscape.
The regulatory filing reiterated that Puri’s departure was a routine retirement-related transition and did not arise from any dispute or issue concerning the company’s management or operations.
