According to an official release, ‘Love Mocktail 3’ is a Kannada drama written by Darling Krishna, Milana Nagaraj, and Yadunandan, and directed by Darling Krishna himself. The cast features Darling Krishna, Milana Nagaraj, Samvrutha, Amrutha Iyengar, Dileep Raj, Shwetha Prasad, among others.
Set several years after the events of ‘Love Mocktail 2’, the story follows Aditya (played by Darling Krishna), who is now a single father raising Nidhi, the child he adopted at the end of the previous film. His life revolves around everyday routines and emotional stability, supported by his caretaker Jagga Mummy and close friends, portraying a quiet but fulfilling phase of parenthood.
The narrative takes a sharp emotional turn when an elderly woman, Dr. Shanta (Rekha Kudligi), enters claiming that Nidhi is her biological granddaughter. This revelation triggers a sensitive custody battle that forces Aditya to confront unresolved layers of his past while fighting to protect the bond he has built with his daughter.
Blending themes of love, responsibility, healing, and emotional resilience, ‘Love Mocktail 3’ brings the much-loved franchise to a heartfelt conclusion, focusing on relationships that go beyond romance and extend into the complexities of chosen family and care.
Darling Krishna, actor and director at KrissMi Films, said the franchise has always been a deeply personal journey for him, and the final chapter completes it in an emotional and meaningful way. He noted that the film explores love beyond romance, highlighting parenting, responsibility, and the strength that comes from choosing to care for someone unconditionally. He also added that he is glad the film is premiering on ZEE5, allowing audiences to experience the story closely and revisit the emotions associated with the franchise.
