Meta Platforms has announced the launch of its Ads AI Connectors in open beta, introducing a new way for advertisers and agencies to create, manage and analyse campaigns directly within the AI tools they already use.
The company said the new connectors are designed to equip businesses with what it calls “AI superpowers for modern advertising,” enabling faster decision-making and more seamless workflows across platforms. The rollout is aimed at advertisers of all sizes, allowing them to integrate campaign operations into their preferred AI-driven environments.
The offering includes Meta’s ads model context protocol (MCP) server and a command line interface (CLI), both of which establish a secure, authenticated connection between an advertiser’s account and AI agents. Unlike generic tools, Meta said these connectors provide insights based on real campaign data, including performance metrics, audience behaviour and catalogue management.
The connectors are built to streamline multiple aspects of campaign execution. Advertisers can generate detailed reports, create and edit campaigns using natural language prompts, manage product catalogues, and diagnose signal quality issues — all within a unified AI workflow. The company emphasised that onboarding is quick, with no requirement for coding, API setup or developer credentials in the case of MCP.
