Times Network has announced an expansive phase of its election programming, culminating in a four-hour mega broadcast of the much-anticipated JVC Exit Poll on April 29 across Times Now and Times Now Navbharat.
According to a Times Now press release, outlines a comprehensive coverage plan co-powered by Vedanta and Jindal Stainless. The network will begin its broadcast at 5 PM on Times Now and 4 PM on Times Now Navbharat, bringing together extensive on-ground reporting and data-driven analysis. With more than 50 journalists deployed across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry, the coverage aims to capture the pulse of voters across four states and one Union Territory.
Building momentum in the run-up to the exit polls, Times Network has already rolled out its flagship election shows such as Election Yatra and Election Premier League, focusing on community-level insights and voter sentiment. Times Now Navbharat has also conducted in-depth ground reporting under Jan Gan ka Mann, particularly in West Bengal, engaging directly with voters across constituencies.
The network’s election programming has featured key political leaders and stakeholders during the campaign trail. Among those who joined the broadcasts are Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Congress leaders Ramesh Chennithala and V. D. Satheesan, along with Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran, former BJP state president K. Annamalai, and NTK leader Seeman.
On April 29, the network will partner with JVC to present projections backed by advanced analytics, combined with insights from a wide panel of experts including psephologists, senior journalists, and political representatives. The analysis will be led by prominent anchors such as Navika Kumar, Zakka Jacob, and Sumit Awasthi.
Under its flagship properties Mandate 2026 and Jan Gan ka Mann, the network aims to blend grassroots reportage with real-time data interpretation, offering viewers an early snapshot of electoral trends ahead of the official results on May 4. With its dual-language reach and integrated coverage strategy, Times Network is positioning this broadcast as one of its most comprehensive election presentations to date.
