Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has partnered with Adidas Originals to unveil India’s first co-created Superstar sneaker, marking a significant collaboration that blends global streetwear culture with a distinctly personal design narrative.
According to an ANI report, the collaboration introduces a bold reinterpretation of the iconic Superstar silhouette, drawing inspiration from the Royal Bengal Tiger and Ranveer Singh’s flamboyant persona. The sneaker features a striking black-and-white base, accentuated with tiger-inspired detailing across the signature three stripes, along with a bespoke ‘Ranveer Singh’ insignia and jewel-like elements that add depth and texture to the design.
Speaking about the collaboration, Ranveer described it as a “full-circle moment,” recalling how the Superstar was part of his journey since his college days. He emphasized that the design reflects his identity, with the Royal Bengal Tiger symbolising instinctive energy and individuality. The actor also highlighted his belief in self-expression, aligning with the campaign’s theme, “Unleash the Original.”
Priced at Rs 11,999, the sneaker positions itself as a premium offering aimed at both sneaker enthusiasts and fans of the actor, while also reinforcing Adidas Originals’ focus on culturally rooted collaborations in India.
Beyond fashion, Ranveer Singh continues to ride high on the success of his ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise, directed by Aditya Dhar. The two-part series has reportedly crossed Rs 3000 crore in worldwide collections, setting a new benchmark for Indian film franchises and further cementing the actor’s box office dominance.
