A new entertainment format blending humour and culinary creativity, ‘Comedy Cooks’ is all set to premiere on April 18 on JioHotstar and Asianet. The show aims to offer a fresh viewing experience by combining cooking challenges with comedy-driven performances, building early buzz following the release of its trailer.
Marking the OTT debut of Bhavana, the show features her alongside Chef Nalan as judges. The format stands out for bringing together a diverse lineup of artists who not only showcase their culinary skills but also entertain audiences with humour, making it a mix of talent and spontaneity.
The show will see participation from performers including Ansiba Hassan, Sabarish Varma, Suchitra, Sabu Mon, Anumol, Hungry Mahi, Sandhyamma, Jio Joseph, Evin-Kevin, Dane Davis, Meenakshi Ravindran, Ashwin Vijayan, Nevin, Subin Tarzan, and Sreevidhya Mullachery. Each episode is expected to feature cooking experiments layered with comic twists, positioning the show as a light-hearted weekend entertainer.
Designed as a format where kitchen chaos meets laughter, ‘Comedy Cooks’ promises engaging moments and unpredictable outcomes, aiming to appeal to family audiences looking for a mix of food and fun.
The show will stream new episodes every Saturday and Sunday on JioHotstar, while also airing on Asianet at 9 pm on weekends. Alongside, ‘Star Singer Season 10’ will premiere the same day, airing at 7.30 pm on weekends, adding a musical offering to the channel’s programming lineup.
