The much-anticipated ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, a new big-screen adventure from the iconic Star Wars universe, is set to release in theatres across India on May 22. The announcement was made by Lucasfilm, the Disney-owned studio behind the globally popular sci-fi franchise.
According to a PTI report, the film will bring back two beloved characters from the hit Disney+ series ‘The Mandalorian’ — bounty hunter Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and his young companion Grogu, whose bond with the warrior has been central to the story’s appeal among fans worldwide.
The studio unveiled an action-packed trailer for the film on February 17 evening, offering a glimpse of the high-stakes adventure that awaits audiences. The movie is scheduled to open exclusively in Indian cinemas in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, expanding its reach to a wider audience across the country.
