Aaj Tak, India’s leading Hindi news channel, is set to host the Nirman Bharat Summit on September 21 at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Positioned as a premier platform to shape India’s development agenda, the summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders and experts to deliberate on the future of infrastructure, real estate, and housing in the country.
According to a press release, the event will spotlight India’s infrastructure growth story, challenges in the real estate sector, and the government’s vision of building a “Naya Bharat.” Special sessions are designed around key themes such as “Nayi Soch, Naya Bharat,” “Sabka Sapna, Ghar Ho Apna,” and “Top Gear Mein Expressway,” aiming to provide diverse perspectives from both government and industry stakeholders.
The day-long summit will begin with Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar addressing the opening session on “Nayi Soch, Naya Bharat.” This will be followed by a discussion on affordable housing, featuring Manoj Gaur, CMD of Gaur Group and President of CREDAI (NCR). Real estate trends and home-buying solutions will be highlighted in a panel featuring Gulam Zia of Knight Frank, Praveen Sharma of REA India (Housing.com), Ashim Bhanja Chowdhury of ANAROCK Group, and Abhinav Joshi of CBRE.
The infrastructure focus will intensify with a high-powered discussion on expressway development, featuring Raghav Chandra, former Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India; Parvesh Minocha of Feedback Highways OMT; and Awanish Kumar Awasthi, former CEO of UPEIDA. Sessions through the afternoon will highlight urban development initiatives in Noida, financing challenges in infrastructure, and sustainable growth opportunities.
Among the key speakers scheduled are Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of Noida Authority; Vaibhav Dange, policy expert on infrastructure and sustainable mobility; Dakshita Das, former MD & CEO of the National Housing Bank; and Palash Srivastava, MD of IIFCL. Later sessions will feature Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways; Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment; and Delhi’s Urban Development Minister Ashish Sood along with Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sunil Sharma.
The summit will conclude with the session “Desh Badal Raha Hai,” underscoring the pace of transformation across India’s urban and infrastructure landscape, followed by a networking high tea.
By bringing policymakers, corporate leaders, and experts on one stage, the Nirman Bharat Summit aims to underline real solutions and actionable ideas for building the foundations of a stronger, modern India.
