Spotify has elevated Neha Ahuja, who previously served as Director and Head of Marketing for India, to Director – Growth, JAPAC. In her new role, Ahuja will be responsible for leading growth across Japan, Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia, focusing on the organic expansion of both Free and Premium users.
According to a Storyboard18 report, the remit will cover strategy, marketing, product-market fit, and payments, with data, experimentation, and cultural insights guiding the growth playbook. Sharing the news, Ahuja said, “In this role, I’ll be leading growth across Japan, Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia — helping drive the organic expansion of Free and Premium users. The work spans strategy, marketing, product-market fit, and payments, all guided by data, experimentation, and cultural insight.”
Ahuja, who began her career at Procter & Gamble, rose through the ranks to become Marketing Manager for Oral Care, where she drove top-line and bottom-line growth while strengthening the category’s market share. She then moved to Vodafone, eventually becoming Vice President – Marketing and Partnerships, where she was responsible for brand strategy, communication, digital, and associations.
