JioStar is bringing back India’s biggest reality property, ‘Bigg Boss’ Hindi, for its 19th season across JioHotstar and COLORS, premiering Sunday, August 24, 2025. Known for its high drama, emotion and cultural resonance, the show has once again ignited nationwide buzz even before launch.
According to a press release, the upcoming season has attracted a strong sponsor lineup with nine brands coming on board across both television and digital platforms. The roster features Vaseline, Appy Fizz, Danube Properties, Flipkart, Citroën, Silver Coin Atta, Manforce, Lakme Peach Milk and Haier — a diverse mix from FMCG, auto, lifestyle and personal care sectors. The associations reflect enduring advertiser confidence in ‘Bigg Boss’ as a high-impact property with unmatched scale and mass appeal.
“India’s most influential reality format, ‘Bigg Boss’, remains the top choice for brands seeking unparalleled reach. No other entertainment property commands this level of impact,” said Mahesh Shetty, Head of Revenue, Entertainment, JioStar. “With its proven track record, this season is poised to deliver unmatched value for both audiences and advertisers across digital streaming and TV.”
Key sponsors also expressed enthusiasm over their association. Vaseline has returned as Co-Presenting Sponsor, with Hindustan Unilever’s Pratik Ved noting the brand’s excitement to use ‘Bigg Boss’ as a platform to connect deeply with millions of households. Parle Agro’s Appy Fizz highlighted the show’s cultural relevance in connecting with young audiences, while Danube Properties pointed to its global resonance. Flipkart, Citroën, and other partners echoed similar sentiments about the show’s ability to amplify reach and embed their brands in everyday conversations.
The new season is set against a Parliament-inspired backdrop with the theme ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’. In a first, housemates will be given authority to make decisions, adding a fresh dimension of strategy and unpredictability. Salman Khan returns as host, continuing his long-standing association with the format and ensuring star power remains at the heart of its appeal.
Premiering August 24, ‘Bigg Boss’ Hindi 19’ will stream daily at 9pm on JioHotstar with a 24×7 live feed, while also airing on COLORS at 10.30 pm. With its trademark blend of power plays, people politics and surprise twists, the show is expected to once again dominate the Indian reality television space, delivering value both to its audience and its sponsors.
