In the HSM urban market, Star TV Network’s Hindi movie channel Star Gold, where Laxmi was the most-watched movie with 6845 average minute audiences according to BARC data for the past four weeks.
The channel has recorded a 762.8 (000) average minute audience in Week 15 (10th April to 16 April 2021) leading in HSM (Urban) NCCS 2+ Individuals target audience.
The channel saw record highs in reach and viewing minutes after the launch of ‘Laxmi’ starring Akshay Kumar. AMA reached record highs of 120.30 in Week 12 (20th March to 26 March 2021) followed by a plateau to 108.59 AMA in Week 15.
According to the BARC data, in the Hindi Movie Urban market, Star Gold was the most-watched movie channel with 762.8 Average Minute Audience with Sony Max at No 2 with 623.85 average minute audiences. Zee Cinema was at No 3 position with 611.54 average minute audiences followed by Star Gold 2 at No 4 with 384.04 average minute audiences. & pictures were at the No 5 position with 331.52 average minute audiences.
