In a significant leadership development in the digital media space, seasoned media executive Abhisheik Joshi has been appointed Group CEO of New Media Holding (NMH), a media-tech company that operates at the intersection of content, creators, and commerce.
Joshi, who has spent over two decades navigating diverse facets of the media ecosystem, shared the news of his appointment through a reflective post on LinkedIn.
Calling it “not just a new title — but a new mission,” Joshi spoke of his aspiration to build a “future-ready media company that’s bold, curious, and unapologetically audience-first.” His post traced his 24-year journey from traditional print and TV newsrooms to OTT content studios and digital startups — each phase shaping his leadership style and vision.
According to Joshi, “Every turn has been a masterclass. Now, it’s time to build again.”
New Media Holding has quickly established itself as a force in the creator economy. With over 27 ventures under its umbrella and a creator network that spans more than 20,000 individuals, NMH claims a monthly digital engagement of over 20 billion. Among its prominent brands are One Digital Entertainment, Being Indian, Blush, Social Nation, Instant Bollywood, MerchGarage, Fancom, and the immersive experience platform SpaceVrse.
With Joshi now at the helm, the company is expected to deepen its innovation and scale in digital storytelling, brand partnerships, and monetization tools for creators. His appointment marks a decisive step in NMH’s ambition to build a media-tech powerhouse that thrives on cultural insight, audience resonance, and platform-agnostic growth.
