Audio entertainment platform Pocket FM has stepped into the sports arena, announcing its official partnership with Jaipur Patriots for Season 6 of Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT). As the back-of-the-jersey sponsor, Pocket FM isn’t just lending its name — it’s aligning its brand with the narrative of ambition, grit, and glory on the table tennis court.
With UTT 2025 kicking off on May 31 at EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, this partnership marks a strategic crossover between sports and storytelling. It brings together two entities—one fuelling imaginations through audio dramas and the other making waves in India’s growing table tennis ecosystem.
The Jaipur Patriots are entering this season with one of their most formidable squads yet. Leading the charge is Sreeja Akula, India’s top-ranked women’s singles player, alongside global stars like Kanak Jha (USA) and Britt Eerland (Netherlands). The team also showcases India’s rising paddlers, under the guidance of Czech coach Pavel Rehorek and India’s Sachin Shetty.
Embodying the rallying cry #Fortheglory, the Patriots aim to not only clinch the title but to elevate the status of table tennis across the country.
“At Pocket FM, we build stories that resonate with ambition, setbacks, and second chances,” said Vineet Singh, Head of Brand Marketing and Communications at Pocket FM. “In Jaipur Patriots, we saw a story we wanted to stand behind — and that’s exactly what we’re doing, both literally and in spirit.”
This campaign marks Pocket FM’s first major foray into Indian sports marketing. The company, known for its long-format audio series in romance, thrillers, and drama, now turns its focus toward live-action storytelling in real life — with players instead of protagonists and matches instead of chapters.
Parina Parekh, Co-owner of Jaipur Patriots, echoed the synergy,“Jaipur Patriots is on a mission to make table tennis matter more in India and create moments that stay with our fans. Pocket FM understands that spirit. They’ve built a platform rooted in storytelling that speaks to young India, and we commend their effort to back a sport still finding its spotlight.”
To celebrate the partnership, Pocket FM is launching an internal table tennis face-off across its India offices, starting May 29. As UTT Season 6 energizes fans on the national stage, the company will replicate the action in-house — a move that blends corporate engagement with a true love for the sport.
Ultimate Table Tennis Season 6 begins May 31, 2025, with matches broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed on JioCinema, bringing viewers closer to the thrill of one of the world’s fastest-growing racket sports.
With Pocket FM in its corner, Jaipur Patriots is not just chasing the title — they’re telling a story of resurgence, passion, and purpose that fans across India can root for.
