Warner Bros. Discovery has appointed Jerome Bigio as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In his new capacity, Bigio will lead the marketing charge across both the company’s streaming and network businesses throughout the region. His role will span brand, content, social, engagement, partnerships, and franchise marketing strategies.
The news of Bigio’s appointment was first confirmed through a post on his LinkedIn profile. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as SVP Marketing, APAC at Warner Bros. Discovery!” he wrote, marking a significant career move in the global media and entertainment industry.
Bigio joins Warner Bros. Discovery with an extensive marketing portfolio, most notably shaped by his nine-year tenure at Netflix. He began his journey with the streaming giant in January 2016 as Head of Partner Marketing for EMEA and later transitioned to the APAC region, where he held a string of leadership roles. His most recent title was Senior Director of Marketing for Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, where he was responsible for executing regional strategies to amplify Netflix’s brand and content footprint through social campaigns, partnerships, and original content productions.
Before his Netflix stint, Bigio served as Retail Marketing Director for Europe at Bose Corporation. His career roots trace back to a product marketing role at Xerox Corporation, followed by marketing leadership positions at Lutron Electronics and TomTom.
With Warner Bros. Discovery continuing to build on its global streaming ambitions and franchise-led entertainment strategies, Bigio’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company’s growth in the competitive and culturally diverse APAC market.
