TV Today Network Limited, a leading force in India’s media industry and part of the India Today Group, has officially announced that Rahul Kumar Shaw has moved on from his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Television & Radio Business. He will now assume a new role as the Head of STAGE AajTak. This development was communicated through a formal filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) dated May 7, 2025.
As per the filing, Shaw has stepped down from his position as CEO and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) with immediate effect. He submitted via a letter on May 7, states his intention to pursue other opportunities, including potential non-SMP roles within the company, based on mutual agreement.
The company has accepted and confirmed that he has been relieved of his current responsibilities. While the filing does not detail Shaw’s long-term future plans, it emphasizes that his exit is entirely voluntary and not linked to any governance or internal matters. During his tenure, Shaw played a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the television and radio arms of the network, contributing meaningfully to its content innovation and business growth.
In his new position as Head of STAGE AajTak, Shaw continues his association with the India Today Group, marking a transition rather than a departure. This move underscores his evolving role within the organization, as he remains instrumental in shaping its forward-looking initiatives.
