In a stirring demonstration of cooperative federalism and development-focused discourse, the inaugural Live Times XChange conclave unfolded in Lucknow with a powerful message: India’s path to becoming a global powerhouse begins with the transformation of its individual states.
Organised by Live Times, India’s first global multicast news hub, the event marked a significant milestone in public discourse, bringing together leading voices from across the political and administrative spectrum to engage in constructive, solutions-driven conversations. As outlined in a press release from the organisers, the XChange platform aims to serve as a bridge between governance, public participation, and policy evolution, reinforcing the idea that India’s national success is deeply rooted in regional progress.
At the heart of the conclave was an electrifying keynote address by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, who outlined a bold vision to make UP a $1 trillion economy by 2029. “यह नया उत्तर प्रदेश, नए भारत की ऊर्जा और संकल्प का प्रतीक है,” he declared, positioning UP not merely as a land of potential, but a dynamic model of execution. Citing robust improvements in law and order, landmark projects like One District One Product (ODOP), religious tourism at scale, and infrastructure investments including expressways and multimodal connectivity, CM Yogi painted a picture of a state actively powering India’s rise.
Adding depth to the discussion was Akhilesh Yadav, Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of the Samajwadi Party. He praised the event for nurturing constructive journalism and noted that Live Times had created a rare forum where political voices could engage in meaningful dialogue without the noise of partisan rhetoric. He called for revival of development projects that remain incomplete, and in a unifying gesture, expressed support for the government in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, urging all parties to prioritise national security over political rivalry.
The conclave drew participation from across the political landscape. Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya Ji and Shri Brajesh Pathak Ji were present, along with key ministers like Baby Rani Maurya Ji, Om Prakash Rajbhar Ji, Asim Arun Ji, and U.P. Congress President Ajay Rai Ji. From women’s empowerment to social justice and decentralised development, each speaker brought a distinct perspective, furthering the conclave’s goal of highlighting state-specific challenges and opportunities that shape the national narrative.
Speaking on the vision behind Live Times XChange, Dilip Kumar Singh, Founder of Live Times, said, “This is more than an event—it is a movement. The transformation of Uttar Pradesh is not just a regional success story, it’s a national blueprint. Through XChange, we’re creating a stage where real problems meet real people, and dialogue leads to action.”
What set the Lucknow edition apart was its ability to transcend political lines while remaining grounded in real issues—from women’s safety and inclusive economic models to caste empowerment and regional identity. The conclave didn’t just present speeches—it sparked a broader movement of participatory governance, with policy impact at its core.
With its debut in Lucknow setting a benchmark, Live Times XChange is now primed to expand across India, curating region-specific dialogues that amplify grassroots realities and shape national strategy. In an era where democratic discourse often struggles for space, Live Times has positioned itself as a new-age media platform committed to depth, direction, and development.
