Network18 has firmly established itself as the country’s leading media group across digital, social, and television platforms, outpacing its closest competitor, Times Internet, by a considerable margin. The latest ComScore rankings for March 2025 have confirmed Network18’s sweeping dominance in both user engagement and platform reach.
As per an official press note shared by Network18, the group has achieved an unprecedented 315 million unique visitors (UVs) across platforms (Social + Native), putting it nearly 55 percent ahead of Times Internet, which garnered 202 million UVs. This staggering lead highlights Network18’s growing influence and deep penetration in the digital content ecosystem.
News18.com, the group’s flagship digital news property, has surged to the top with 251 million UVs, decisively beating The Times of India’s digital platform, which registered 183 million UVs. This jump firmly positions News18 as India’s most widely consumed digital news brand, outshining legacy players in both volume and engagement.
Network18’s stronghold on social media is equally noteworthy. According to the ComScore Media Metrix Social report, the group has achieved 54 percent reach across India’s 389 million social media users. This performance places Network18 leagues ahead of its nearest rival, TV9 Network, and underscores its influence in shaping public discourse across digital conversations.
What makes this feat even more significant is that Network18 has maintained its number one rank even when social media traffic is excluded. In the ComScore MMX rankings under the ‘News and Information’ category, Network18 leads with 183.2 million UVs, inching ahead of Times Internet’s 182.3 million UVs.
The regional language portfolio of News18 has also emerged as a key growth driver. The group’s Indian language websites collectively recorded 182 million UVs, proving Network18’s strong cultural and linguistic connect with audiences across India. This regional traction complements its national dominance and affirms its inclusive content strategy.
Beyond digital, Network18 continues its reign on television as well. CNN-News18 remains the number one English news channel for the third consecutive year—an unmatched record in the genre. In the Hindi news space, News18 India has held its lead across time bands for two straight years, making it the top choice for viewers in India’s largest linguistic market.
This historic clean sweep across platforms reaffirms Network18’s status as India’s most trusted and consumed news network. With comprehensive reach across languages, screens, and demographics, it now stands at the forefront of India’s rapidly evolving media landscape.
