Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has taken a decisive step in its digital growth strategy by appointing Hitesh Sood as Vice President & Head of B2B Subscription and Partnerships (Digital Business).
According to his updated LinkedIn profile, Sood officially took on the role in February 2025 and has already begun working on expanding SonyLIV’s global footprint and driving high-value partnerships.
With over two decades of experience spanning telecom, media, and digital services, Sood is no stranger to the complexities of content distribution and monetization. His career includes scaling OTT distribution, launching industry-first telco content bundles, and forging revenue-driven partnerships across continents.
In his new role, Sood will focus on international expansion, collaborating with telcos, banks, and content aggregators to enhance SonyLIV’s global presence.
