The much-awaited bilingual film ‘Ramam Raghavam’, directed by and starring Dhanraj Koranani alongside acclaimed actor Samuthirakani, is now set to hit screens on February 21. The film, which was initially scheduled for release on February 28, will be simultaneously released in Tamil and Telugu, as announced by the makers on Saturday.
‘Ramam Raghavam’ delves into the emotionally charged relationship between a strict father and his undisciplined son, promising a compelling narrative rooted in family dynamics. Taking to social media platform X, director-actor Dhanraj Koranani shared the news with fans, writing, “Emotionally stunning Ramam Raghavam is releasing worldwide on February 21st.”
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast, featuring Harish Uthaman, Satya, Moksha Sengupta, Pramodini, Srinivas Reddy, and Pruthviraj in key roles. Besides acting and directing, Koranani has also penned the screenplay and dialogues for the film. The project is bankrolled by Prudhvi Polavarapu and presented by Prabhakar Aaripaka.
Notably, ‘Ramam Raghavam’ gained attention last year when the filmmakers organized a pre-release screening at Cherlapally Central Jail in Hyderabad. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the film was shown to 2,500 prisoners, underlining its socially conscious themes.
The film’s story is written by Sivaprasad Yanala, with music composed by Arun Chiluveru. The cinematography is handled by Durga Prasad Kolli, while Marthand K Venkatesh takes charge of editing. Art direction is by Douluri Narayana, with lyrics penned by renowned songwriter Saraswati Putra Ramajogayya Sastry. Action sequences are choreographed by Natraj, and dance sequences are directed by Jithu. Ramana Madhavaram serves as the film’s co-director.
With a powerful story, an accomplished cast, and a unique promotional approach, ‘Ramam Raghavam’ is shaping up to be an emotionally gripping cinematic experience for audiences across both Tamil and Telugu industries.
