Jio Star has announced a significant leadership change with the appointment of Vivek Mohan Sharma as the new Business Head of the Youth, Music and English (YME) cluster, The Economic Times reported yesterday.
This move comes in the wake of Anshul Ailawadi’s departure, who, after 11 impactful years with the organization, has stepped down to explore new opportunities.
Sharma, who joined Viacom18 in 2021, now steps into the leadership role with nearly two decades of industry experience in revenue generation, marketing, and content creation. His impressive track record includes building the Network Sales Branded Content team from scratch and delivering landmark campaigns such as ‘Cricket Ka Ticket’, ‘Royal Stag Boom Box’, and ‘Imperial Blue’, the ET report said.
