The iconic Indian quiz show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, recently welcomed a star-studded lineup of digital content creators in a memorable special episode.
YouTube sensations Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, Bhuvan Bam, and Kamiya Jani joined Bachchan on the hot seat, adding a refreshing blend of humour, nostalgia, and charm to the show.
The episode, which is already making waves on social media, brought together some of India’s most beloved digital stars, and the interaction between Bachchan and the YouTubers has captured the audience’s attention, particularly a hilarious moment between Samay Raina and the Bollywood icon.
In a viral clip circulating online, Samay and Tanmay take the hot seat, while Bhuvan and Kamiya cheer them on from the audience. Known for his wit and humour, Samay injects a dose of nostalgia by joking about the legendary pop culture phenomenon, ‘Sooryavansham’. Recalling the countless reruns of Amitabh Bachchan’s films on television, Samay humorously mentions that his first three films of Bachchan were all from ‘Sooryavansham’.
The playful banter takes a delightful turn when Samay requests Bachchan to reenact his iconic Shahenshah dialogue, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah.” The moment, filled with fanboy joy, becomes even more amusing when Samay adds, “Mujhe believe nahi ho raha sir, aapko humare saath baithna pad raha hai” (I can’t believe, sir, that you have to sit with us), causing the audience to burst into laughter.
Set to air on January 31 the episode promises more humour, surprises, and endearing moments as these digital creators share the spotlight with Bachchan.
