The Advertising Club (TAC) is set to host the highly anticipated ‘Effie India Awards’ on January 24. Known as India’s most prestigious advertising and marketing event, the Effie Awards recognize campaigns that have delivered remarkable results, showcasing the collaboration between agencies and clients in building impactful brands.
The Effie Awards, presented by Effie Worldwide, are globally regarded as the gold standard for marketing effectiveness, a press statement from TAC said.
The awards not only highlight creative excellence but also emphasize measurable success in driving business growth through innovative campaigns. As a unique distinction, the Effie Awards honor both the agency and the client, celebrating their combined efforts in achieving marketing milestones.
This year marks the 24th edition of the Effie India Awards, an event that has grown to become the second-largest Effie in the world in terms of participation.
The 2025 edition has set new benchmarks, with 1152 entries submitted by 75 agencies. Over 486 jury members, including 254 marketing professionals, dedicated their expertise to evaluating the submissions through three rounds of rigorous judging held both online and in person across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
Speaking about this year’s event, Rana Barua, President of The Advertising Club and Group CEO of Havas India, stated, “The Effie Awards are a celebration of marketing brilliance, where effectiveness meets innovation, and efficiency thrives through collaboration. Effie India stands as a beacon of excellence, recognizing campaigns that forge new standards and exemplify the true spirit of impactful business success.”
Mitrajit Bhattacharya, Chairperson of the Effie India Awards and Founder of The Horologists, expressed his excitement for the gala, saying, “Hosting the 24th Effie India Awards is a tremendous joy. Celebrating the best work of the year with those who created it is a huge honor. A special thanks to the 486 judges who meticulously evaluated the record-breaking entries. This year’s introduction of jury chairs for each session of Round 2 judging was a great success, further enhancing the process.”
Echoing similar sentiments, Pradeep Dwivedi, Co-Chairperson of the Effie India Awards and Group CEO of Eros Media World, said, “The Effie Awards celebrate the power of creative thinking and measurable impact—the pillars of successful marketing. It is a privilege to collaborate with industry leaders to honor campaigns that set benchmarks for excellence and drive tangible results.”
