Sony PIX is marking a monumental milestone in cinema with the launch of its ‘Century of Cinema’ campaign, commemorating a century of cinematic excellence from Columbia Pictures.
As part of the celebration, the channel is offering viewers the chance to win an extraordinary prize: a trip to the iconic Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, through an interactive contest.
Starting November 16, 2024, for four consecutive weekends, Sony PIX will host a unique, interactive contest at 7 pm. To participate, viewers can scan a QR code that will appear during the broadcast or visit the Sony PIX Instagram account for access to the contest microsite.
Once on the microsite, participants will be able to collect character cards inspired by famous characters from Sony Pictures Entertainment films. Each card features its own set of points and abilities. The goal is to collect the highest number of points by the end of the contest, with the top scorer winning the grand prize—a dream vacation to Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, the ultimate destination for film and theme park enthusiasts.
In addition to the exciting contest, Sony PIX will also air a selection of iconic films from the vast library of Columbia Pictures. The lineup includes classic and popular titles such as ‘Taxi Driver’ (1976), ‘Anaconda’ (1997), ‘Godzilla’ (1998), ‘Spider-Man 2’ (2004), ‘2012’ (2009), ‘Captain Phillips’ (2013), ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ (2018) and ‘Uncharted’ (2022).
