In his expanded role, Kalra will focus on growing ZEE5’s global footprint, enhancing user engagement, and driving partnerships, aligning with ZEE5’s vision of establishing itself as a leader in the digital content space worldwide.
Kalra, who joined ZEE5 in 2020, brings over 20 years of experience in online business and marketing, with previous leadership roles at Amazon, MakeMyTrip, HomeShop18, Dell, and Craftsvilla. His strategic goals include broadening ZEE5’s reach through data-driven insights, improving user experiences, and optimizing the platform’s performance across subscription and ad-based video-on-demand segments.
With a master’s degree in business administration from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Kalra’s expertise positions him to accelerate ZEE5’s global growth and meet the rising demand for high-quality, culturally relevant content across diverse audiences worldwide.
