BIG FM’s flagship show ‘Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho’ returns for its third season, now with celebrated actor Pankaj Tripathi stepping in as the host. Sponsored by Bank of Baroda and in partnership with Madhur Sugar, this season centers on rethinking masculinity, addressing stereotypes, and fostering eye-opening conversations across both radio and digital platforms.
The show introduces fresh segments like ‘Pankaj Promise,’ urging listeners to pledge against restrictive masculinity norms, and ‘The Friday Show’, where Tripathi shares personal stories from his roles as son, brother, husband, and father. Notably, Tripathi will deliver a stand-up special, using his unique wit to challenge societal pressures on men and advocate for an inclusive understanding of manhood, the company said in a press release.
Expressing his excitement, Tripathi shared, “Hosting Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho gives me a platform to explore the realities of masculinity. We’ll discuss economic, physical, and emotional hurdles men face, aiming to reshape perceptions and promote empathy.”
BIG FM’s COO, Sunil Kumaran, noted, “With Pankaj Tripathi leading, this season focuses on essential dialogues about masculinity, making these discussions accessible via a 360-degree experience, including podcasts and stand-up content.”
Following a reach of 320 million in previous seasons, Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho is set for extensive promotion across radio, social media, and podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, JioSaavn, and more. Tune in to BIG FM on October 28 at 7 pm to join Pankaj Tripathi in an inspiring exploration of modern masculinity.
