MY FM, the radio division of the Dainik Bhaskar group, has launched two new humour capsules, ‘Irshad-Na-Kaabil’ and ‘Baklol Samachar’, ahead of the festive season. These snack-sized shows are designed to bring fresh, engaging content to listeners as part of MY FM’s shift towards short-format programming.
Irshad-Na-Kaabil features a quirky character with an offbeat, nonsensical style of storytelling, mixing humour with Bollywood nostalgia. The character takes listeners through imaginative backstories of popular Bollywood songs, adding a fun twist to familiar tunes.
Baklol Samachar, on the other hand, showcases a comedic news anchor who delivers a satirical take on current events. With a unique style and humorous take on the news, he entertains listeners by blending sarcasm with flamboyant commentary.
These shows mark MY FM’s effort to bring more variety and entertainment to its listeners through short-format content. The new humour capsules are expected to resonate with listeners seeking quick, enjoyable, and light-hearted entertainment during their busy routines.
“We are thrilled to introduce these new humour capsules and continue offering unique, entertaining content,” said Rahul Namjoshi, CEO of MY FM.
