As the country gears up to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, News18 Lokmat has embraced the festive spirit with its special initiative, ‘Bappa Morya Re’.
This 10-day celebration is dedicated to showcasing the cultural significance, vibrant energy, and rich traditions of Ganeshotsav, one of Maharashtra’s most cherished festivals, the news channel said in a statement.
News18 Lokmat‘s initiative dives deep into the essence of Ganeshotsav by capturing the festival’s spirit through a series of interviews, stories, and live reports from various pandals across Maharashtra. The special programming offers viewers an immersive experience, showcasing everything from the majestic installations of Ganesh idols to the intricate rituals performed daily.
The channel will also provide extensive live coverage of Ganesh Visarjan, capturing the devotional and emotional moments as thousands of devotees bid farewell to their beloved deity, Bappa. To further enhance the festive atmosphere, renowned celebrities will visit the channel to share their stories and seek blessings during the celebration.
‘Bappa Morya Re’ airs at 5:21pm every day, providing comprehensive coverage throughout the festival. The initiative is co-presented by Oxyrich and Finolex Pipes & Fittings and is co-powered by Reliance Industries Ltd..
