Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar are set to host the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2024 in Abu Dhabi next month.
For the first time, IIFA Awards 2024 will merge the best of Hindi and South film industries including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, to celebrate the diversity of Indian cinema, a PTI report from Mumbai stated.
The three-day event will be held from September 27 to 29, culminating with IIFA Rocks, an exclusive, invitation-only affair.
Khan expressed excitement about hosting the awards, emphasizing IIFA’s global resonance and his long-standing association with the event. Johar, echoing this enthusiasm, highlighted his family’s deep connection with IIFA.
Actor Shahid Kapoor, a key performer, and Andre Timmins, IIFA’s founder, promise mesmerizing performances and an unparalleled celebration of cinema.
