ZEE5, a prominent home-grown video streaming platform in India, has unveiled the poster for its upcoming original series, ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’, sparking intrigue with the launch date set as August 9 1990. This peculiar date has left fans speculating about the show’s unique premise and how it relates to the past.
Co-produced by the multihyphenate Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta of Dharmatic Entertainment, and Oscar-winning filmmaker duo Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain of Sikhya Entertainment, Gyaarah Gyaarah is directed by Umesh Bist.
The series is a police drama set in Uttarakhand, featuring two officers from different eras linked by a mysterious walkie-talkie. This device triggers a butterfly effect, impacting events in both the past and present, blending sci-fi with intense drama.
