NDTV, India’s leading television news channel known for its dedication to social causes, has unveiled its latest contribution under the ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ initiative.
In a significant move to enhance accessibility at major airports, this initiative has provided 29 wheelchairs and 2 buggies across four major airports: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Guwahati.
As per a press note, the ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ initiative is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment by ensuring that all travelers, regardless of their physical abilities, can navigate airport environments with dignity and ease. By introducing essential support such as wheelchairs and buggies, the initiative aims to improve the quality of life for specially-abled individuals and promote inclusivity in public spaces.
‘Samarth by Hyundai’ is designed to foster an equitable experience for all travelers, shifting perceptions and advocating for a society where every individual can thrive. This initiative is part of a broader plan to unite governments, corporations, and citizens in making public spaces more accessible and inclusive.
