A new date-night horror film, ‘Ragini 3’, starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Junaid Khan, is set to offer a mix of thrills, humour and edge-of-the-seat entertainment.
The film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh, known for his work on ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Veere Di Wedding’, and is expected to deliver an engaging blend of romance and horror designed for a date-night viewing experience.
According to a UNI report, the project is backed by Balaji Motion Pictures, with Sahir Raza serving as the creative force behind the film. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms Ltd. While the makers have generated considerable buzz around the project, further details about the storyline and characters are being kept under wraps.
Tamannaah was last seen in ‘Odela 2’, the sequel to ‘Odela Railway Station’, which revolved around the fictional village of Odela and its spiritual protector safeguarding the community from dark forces. She will next be seen in ‘Vvan’, alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
Junaid Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, made his lead acting debut portraying social reformer Karsandas Mulji in the period drama ‘Maharaj’, based on the historic Maharaj Libel Case of 1862. In 2025, he had his first theatrical release opposite Khushi Kapoor in the romantic comedy ‘Loveyapa’, a remake of the Tamil hit Love Today. He is also set to star alongside Sai Pallavi in ‘Mere Raho’, a film set in Sapporo and produced by his father.
