The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has announced the appointment of Dr. Bikramjit Chaudhuri as its new Chief of Measurement Science & Analytics.
Dr. Chaudhuri will be succeeding Dr. Derrick Gray, who has been a pivotal member of BARC India for six years, making significant contributions in Audience Measurement and Advanced Analytics.
Dr. Chaudhuri, commonly known as Bikram, holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and a Master of Statistics degree from the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. He brings over three decades of extensive experience in Statistics, Stochastic Modelling, Market Measurement, Consumer Segmentation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Demand Forecasting, and Big Data Analytics. His illustrious career includes numerous research papers, publications, and patents in these domains.
Prior to joining BARC India, Bikram served as the Global Head of Data Science & Advanced Analytics at Datamatics Group of Companies since 2016. His professional journey also includes significant leadership roles at KPMG, Nielsen, and ZS Associates, where he led large teams and spearheaded critical projects.
