‘Hum Do Humare Baraah’ has undergone a title change and will now hit the screens as ‘Humare Baarah.’ The decision comes following a directive from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Starring veteran actor Annu Kapoor alongside TV heartthrob Parth Samthaan, the movie is slated for a theatrical release on June 7, PTI reported from Mumbai.
Directed by Kamal Chandra, ‘Humare Baarah’ was initially titled ‘Hum Do Humare Baraah’. However, in adherence to the CBFC’s directive, the title has been revised. The filmmakers expressed their enthusiasm for the new title, emphasizing its alignment with the film’s narrative.
Kapoor, known for his versatile performances, shared his excitement about the project, describing it as an incredible journey. The film explores intricate and sensitive themes, and Kapoor believes that the new title better reflects its essence.
Echoing Kapoor’s sentiments, the producers Gupta and Bhagat expressed confidence that the new title will resonate with audiences, capturing the essence of the movie’s storytelling.
‘Humare Baarah’ also marks the silver screen debut of Samthaan, a popular face from television known for his roles in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
The ensemble cast includes Ashwini Kalsekar, Rahul Bagga, Paritosh Tiwari, Manoj Joshi, and Aditi Bhatpahri, promising a compelling cinematic experience.
