Disney Star senior executive Venke Sharma has officially resigned from his position, marking the end of an 11-year tenure with the entertainment giant.
According to The Economic Times, Sharma expressed gratitude for the diverse roles he undertook during his time with The Walt Disney Company. Initially tasked with building and nurturing the Digital Marketing and CRM capability across Star India Network, Sharma’s role gradually expanded to encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities in consumer strategy and innovation.
During his tenure, Sharma spearheaded numerous digital marketing campaigns, including notable initiatives such as ‘Satyamev Jayate’ for Star Plus, IPL and PKL launch campaigns, and the widely acclaimed “Mauka Mauka” campaign for Star Sports, the ET report said.
