Eurosport has exciting news for tennis fans across India, Asia, and Europe! They will be broadcasting the DafaNews Bengaluru Open 2024 live from the quarter-finals onwards, starting this Friday.
Organized by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) at the KSLTA Stadium in Bengaluru, this ATP Challenger event promises thrilling matches, with the final set to take place on Sunday.
Viewers can expect to witness top-tier tennis action featuring renowned players such as Sumit Nagal, who recently made waves by breaking into the ATP top-100 rankings, former World No. 25 Vasek Pospisil from Canada, and Coleman Wong, the highest-ranked male tennis player from Hong Kong in history.
Sunil Yajaman, Tournament Director, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The ongoing sixth edition of the DafaNews Bengaluru Open has been fiercely competitive, with players from 22 countries vying for victory. We’re thrilled to bring the excitement and intensity of the tournament straight to the living rooms of fans, thanks to Eurosport’s live telecast starting this Friday.”
Yajaman also highlighted the value of expert commentary, which will enrich the viewing experience and help expand the sport’s reach both within India and around the globe.
Eurosport, known for its coverage of top sports events including Formula One and ATP Tour 250, will also be broadcasting the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
In addition to Eurosport’s involvement, the DafaNews Bengaluru Open 2024 boasts an impressive lineup of sponsors, with twelve gold sponsors leading the charge. Real estate giants like Prestige Group and Brigade Group, along with companies like ACT Fibernet, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Hitachi, and JSW Group, are among the prominent backers of the tournament.
DafaNews holds the title sponsorship, while the Government of Karnataka’s Department of Tourism serves as the presenting sponsor, and Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd takes the platinum sponsorship for another year.
