In a thrilling leap into the world of web series, actress Reem Shaikh is all set to make her OTT debut with the legal drama ‘Raisinghani vs Raisinghani.’
Widely recognized for her roles in ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ and ‘Gul Makai,’ Reem takes on the challenging character of Ankita Pandey, marking her first portrayal of a character with shades of grey, IANS reported.
Ankita Pandey, described as a complex yet relatable character, provides a unique challenge for the ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress. Reem expresses her excitement about the role, stating, “Playing Ankita is an absolute thrill for me. It’s not just my debut in the OTT world, but also my first dive into portraying a character with shades of grey.”
Despite the apparent dissimilarities between Reem and Ankita, the actress reveals the transformative power of makeup and costume, transporting her into Ankita’s world of revenge and angst within just 20 minutes. Reem shares, “This role has not only simplified my vanity but also allows me to delve deeper into Ankita’s psyche, unraveling the intricate webs of her relationships.”
