Saikat Dutta has rejoined TV Today Network as the National Revenue Head, marking his return to the company after a three-year hiatus.
In an announcement on LinkedIn, Dutta expressed his excitement about his new role and responsibility.
Dutta, with over two decades of experience in media ad sales across various platforms, previously held the position of National Head Sales for Aaj Tak HD, Good News Today (GNT), and ISHQ (FM) during his earlier stint at TV Today. His focus was on delivering innovative and integrated advertising solutions, managing network ad sales, forming strategic alliances, and overseeing airtime sales.
Before rejoining TV Today, Dutta served as the COO of Patanjali Media for over a year. His new role at TV Today involves overseeing advertising sales for AajTak, AajTak HD and Good News Today in non-metro areas.
Throughout his career, Dutta has contributed significantly to media ad sales with notable roles at Sun TV Network Limited, India TV, Zee Entertainment Enterprise, ABP Group, and Star TV. At Sun TV Network, he served as the General Manager and Cluster Head of GEC Channels, generating substantial ad revenue from the north and eastern markets of India for Sun Network GEC channels.
