The frenzy around Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal‘ continues as ticket prices for the film have been drastically reduced to Rs 100.
The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which stormed the box office upon its December 2023 release, has already surged past the remarkable Rs 500 crore milestone in the domestic market by its third weekend.
The film’s success was recently commemorated with a celebratory gathering, where Anil Kapoor hailed Rashmika Mandanna as the movie’s fortunate charm, IANS reported from Mumbai.
Riding high on victory, ‘Animal‘ stands as Ranbir’s biggest opening yet, portraying a compelling narrative of a father-son relationship. Ranbir’s character exhibits an intense protectiveness towards his father, essayed by Anil Kapoor, going to great lengths to shield his love.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, the over three-hour crime drama was released in multiple languages—Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—on December 1, 2023. The film’s multi-lingual release further contributed to its widespread impact and box office dominance.
Despite its runtime, ‘Animal’ continues to captivate audiences, marking a testament to its enduring success even as ticket prices make it more accessible to eager moviegoers.
