The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) yesterday said it has granted another extension to the deadline for submissions on a consultation paper on ‘Review of Regulatory Framework for Broadcasting and Cable services’.
It said on requests received from the stakeholders for another extension of time for submission of comments the last date for submission of comments and counter-comments have been further extended to October 10 and October 25, respectively.
The regulator had issued the consultation on August 8, 2023 and the original deadlines were September 5 and 19, respectively.
“No request for any further extension of time for submission of comments/counter-comments shall be entertained,” TRAI clarified in a media statement.
