Disney+ Hotstar has revealed plans for a new series based on the popular ‘Commando‘ films.
The upcoming action-thriller show will feature newcomer Prem in the lead role, alongside Adah Sharma.
The series, helmed by the visionary creator and director Vipul Amrutlal Shah, is being produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Sunshine Pictures Pvt Ltd. Alongside Prem and Sharma, the show will also star Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Singh Chaudhry, Amit Sial, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Mukesh Chhabra and Ishteyak Khan in significant roles, PTI reported.
Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer, creator, and director of the series, shared, “‘Commando’ narrates the story of a courageous hero and his journey of valour, patriotism, and camaraderie. This power-packed action and drama are certain to captivate the audience. Casting Prem to portray the role of the ultimate Commando has been an incredible journey.
“His exceptional talent and seamless embodiment of the character have been commendable. Additionally, collaborating with Disney+ Hotstar once again has been a rewarding experience.”
