Shaunak Sen’s acclaimed documentary ‘All That Breathes’ has made its digital debut on JioCinema in India.
The film, set in Delhi, explores the inspiring journey of two dedicated siblings, Mohammad Saud, and Nadeem Shehzad, as they rescue and care for injured birds, with a particular focus on black kites.
The documentary gained global recognition, winning the prestigious ‘World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Documentary’ at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and the coveted Golden Eye award for Best Documentary at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, PTI reported from Mumbai.
Shaunak Sen expressed his excitement on Instagram, stating, “Delighted to report that All That Breathes is finally available in India. Like all HBO films and shows, it’s on Jio. Please spread the word!” The film’s Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature at the 95th Academy Awards further solidifies its significance in the industry.
Although it didn’t secure the award, Daniel Roher’s ‘Navalny’ emerged as the winner in that category.
