News18 Bangla will telecast today and Sunday a show based on ‘The Education Eminence 2023’.
The initiative, which sought to recognize the contributions of educational institutions in assisting and empowering future generations, was held on May 30 in Kolkata. It was organised by News18 Bangla in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Calcutta Inner City.
As per a press release, the event recognized 33 educational institutions for their hard work and dedication. Furthermore, outstanding students, who overcame various challenges and adversities to excel in this year’s board exams, were recognized.
Bratya Basu, Minister In Charge, Department of Higher Education and School Education, Government of West Bengal, and Rathin Ghosh, Minister In Charge, Department of Food and Supplies, Government of West Bengal, were among those graced the occasion.
The other personalities who graced the event were Chiranjib Bhattacharya, President of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education; Ramanuj Ganguly, President of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education; Arindam Sil, Film Director; poet Srijato Bandopadhyay; actors Abir Chatterjee and Isha Saha,; Jawahar Sircar, Member of The Rajya Sabha; Pradeep Gooptu, Retired Resident Editor of Business Standard; SV Raman, Program Director at Victoria Memorial Hall and Museum and Navarun Sen, President Rotary Club of Calcutta Inner City.
The event consisted of a series of panel discussions featuring individuals from the education sector, who ignited valuable conversations and fostered meaningful insights on the recent challenges and opportunities in education.
The knowledge partner of the event was Branolia, along with sports partner Kolkata Thunderbolts, special Partner National Jute Board, and associate Sponsor Reliance Industries.
