Rohit Khetarpal has been appointed as Digital Media Distribution head at Powerkids Entertainment for strengthening its capabilities in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
In his new role, Rohit will shape the direction and strategy of Powerkids’ children’s content distribution across various digital platforms.
The company shared the news on LinkedIn saying, “At PowerKids we are dedicated to continuously strengthening our capabilities in the ever-evolving digital landscape. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to have Rohit Khetarpal take charge of our Digital Media Distribution. With his profound understanding of the industry and strategic mindset, Rohit will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and strategy of our children’s content distribution across various digital platforms.”
Earlier, Rohit was the Director of Network and Content Distribution for South Asia at Turner International India.
He joined Turner’s Network and Content Distribution team in 2008 managing the distribution of Turner’s then portfolio of channels in India – Cartoon Network, Pogo, Toonami, HBO, and WB.
Turner ceased independent ops in India just before Warner Bros. merged with Discovery last year.
