MPL, a mobile esports and digital gaming platform, today announced the start of a new campaign, ‘Darr Ko Hatao, Bada Khel Jao’.
The film, which stars its brand ambassador Virat Kohli, aims to demonstrate how the platform has robust security measures in place to protect its players’ interests and enable them to play fearlessly.
Several avatar versions of the Indian cricket superstar can be seen in the film. While they may appear to be indistinguishable at first look, only one of them is genuine, with the others being mere replicas.
The campaign is a continuation of MPL’s player-first approach and demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing a safe and secure gaming experience that players can rely on and appreciate, the company said in a statement.
In this regard, the company has implemented several programmes. It started a global Bug Bounty program in which security researchers will be rewarded up to Rs.10 lakhs for effectively identifying a valid vulnerability on MPL.
MPL also took a risk by banning over a million user accounts that violated rules and used unfair methods to manipulate gameplay outcomes to their advantage.
