Spotify has introduced its new ‘Niche Mixes’ feature, which is a collection of personalized playlists that combine all of the Mixes provided playfully.
To access the new feature, users can browse the ‘Made For You’ hub within the Search tab to find five to ten Mixes that the platform believes they will enjoy, according to a blog post published on Tuesday.
“To get super specific, look for an activity, vibe, or aesthetic that describes the moment you’re in, and then add the word ‘mix’ at the end.”
Mixes are accessible to all Free and Premium users worldwide who search Spotify in English, IANS reported from San Francisco.
Mood Mixes, Decades Mixes, and Genre Mixes are among the extant Mixes. The business has also expanded its Mixes family with the introduction of the new Niche Mixes.
The music streaming platform debuted its personalised music feature ‘DJ’, which is powered by artificial intelligence, last month. (AI).
The DJ feature is a personalized AI guide that understands users and their “music taste” well enough to choose what to play for them.
